Special exhibition "Bridge of Remagen" opens its doors
Following the fire protection closure of the popular Peace Museum in the bridge towers of the Remagen bridge, the city of Remagen has kept its promise to create a special exhibition at short notice and opened the doors of the exhibition rooms in the Rheinhalle Remagen on 9 May. Until October 31, interested citizens and visitors to the city can find out about the 100-year history of the Remagen Bridge and the history of the Peace Museum on 110 square meters of exhibition space. Through images, texts, videos and exhibits, the story is presented vividly and also provides visitors of the museum in the bridge towers a new perspective on the world-famous memorial. Various QR codes allow visitors to directly expand their information to digital content. All of the museum rooms in the Rheinhalle have free Wi-Fi, so that this additional offer can be used without the use of personal data. The special exhibition is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm and the entrance fee of € 3.50 per person (pupils and students € 1.00, groups of 10 or more € 2.00 per person) has been favorably priced. Children up to 10 years visit the exhibition free of charge.
