Easter market with regional products
The traditional Easter market will take place on Easter Sunday, 12 April 2020, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in front of the picturesque backdrop around the Tatzelwurmbrunnen on the historic market square of Kobern.
Suppliers from the region present their goods and products at around 30 sales stands. In addition to a variety of creative handicrafts, exquisite delicacies of all kinds are also available at the Easter Market. For example mountain and alp cheese, ham and salamis, Tyrolean specialities, spices, tea, mustard and vinegars from own production. Garden lovers will find creative garden decorations and artistic slate birdhouses, for example.
Another item on the programme:
In the afternoon, the local men's choir will delight you with wonderful spring-like songs. There is a fun bouncy castle for the children and of course the Easter bunny will not miss the opportunity to surprise the children personally this year. He said that this was a matter of honour for "the" big Easter nest.
As so much of the programme makes the children thirsty and hungry, the visitors' physical well-being is also well catered for: for example, bratwurst, Krakauer, Rindswurst, Currywurst, French fries, fried potatoes, baked ham, burgers, Saumagen with sauerkraut in bread rolls, sweet crêpes, sweets and roasted almonds.
And the adults can look forward to Moselriesling from the famous Koberner Terrassenlagen. In addition, the local gastronomy invites you to feast on regional delicacies - from sweet to savoury, there is something for every palate.
Following the Easter Market, the Verein Weinfreunde Kobern-Gondorf e.V. invites all
